Veratrak meets with Executives from Indian Pharma Companies

Veratrak was selected as a delegate of UK biopharmaceutical companies to attend a Department of International Trade (DIT) Mission to India. It was a prestigious opportunity for Veratrak to be chosen as a notable software solution for the pharmaceutical industry and further promote trade between the two countries.

The DIT organised round table discussions with top leadership from life sciences companies in the three largest pharmaceutical hubs in India: Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad. The delegation met with large pharmaceutical companies and Indian state policymakers in an effort to promote business between Indian and UK companies in the pharmaceutical industry.

Matthew Wilson and Sanjay Raturi represented Veratrak at the delegation and interacted with over 45 C-level executives over five days. They also visited GxP manufacturing facilities in India, enabling the Veratrak team to better understand the challenges and opportunities presented by Indian markets.

Key takeaways from the opportunity were that India has an established pharmaceutical industry, focused on exports. As Indian companies are manufacturing for their customers in highly regulated markets like the US and EU, there is a priority to bring technological solutions to increase the quality of communication amongst partners in the pharmaceutical supply chain.

Veratrak was applauded for bringing innovation to supply chain communications, and generated significant interest amongst Indian companies for creating a collaborative document sharing environment for their partners and customers.
